What are the types of conformal paints?
According to the composition and curing characteristics, conformal paints are mainly divided into four categories: (1) Acrylate type: cost-effective, fast curing, easy to spray and construction, good repairability, suitable for general electronic equipment protection; (2) Silicone type: high and low temperature resistance (-50°C to 200°C), strong aging resistance, good flexibility, suitable for outdoor and high-temperature environment equipment; (3) Polyurethane type: excellent chemical corrosion resistance, high hardness and strong adhesion of the protective film, suitable for harsh environments (such as chemical and marine scenarios); (4) UV curing type: requires ultraviolet irradiation curing, the curing speed is extremely fast (a few seconds to a few minutes), no volatile organic compounds, suitable for automatic production lines, and outstanding environmental protection. In addition, there are niche types such as epoxy types, which have a narrow application range due to their brittleness and difficulty in repairing after curing.
